THE CANNONA DATABASE (CDB)
The main objective of research programs carried out on the Tenuta Cannona Erosion Plots has always been the investigation of the effects of soil management on hydrology and soil degradation in vineyards. The aim of the CDB is to make the collected data available for consultation and for use by the public, researchers, students, authorities, farmer organizations and other stakeholders. Most of the data and results of the CDB are available for download, for research and educational purposes. The publically available data also include general information and description of the Tenuta Cannona Erosion Plots, results of the research activities, reports, publications, images, links to other useful databases.
The available data and documentation are organized in three sections:
- the Cannona Database (CDB) service, including validated datasets collected since 2000;
- the Cannona Real-time Data service, including real-time rainfall and runoff hourly data and rough hourly data since 2012;
- the Cannona Documentation service, including general information and description of the Tenuta Cannona Erosion Plots, results of the research activities, reports, publications, images, links to other useful databases.
